Every year, the Monaco Yacht Show gathers the best yachts in the world, and also the top yacht designers, shipbuilders as well as the yachting industry trade for four beautiful and busy days in Port Hercule in Monaco. This year, the show was 26-29 September, and it was SA Baxter’s inaugural year at the show:

Especially for this year’s show, we launched two new architectural hardware suites geared towards superyachts. The hardware suites were designed in collaboration with the award-winning superyacht design firm Bannenberg & Rowell Design out of London, whose yacht “Joy” won ShowBoats Design Awards’ prestigious title last year, and from which one of the hardware suites derives its name. Both the “Joy” & “Miramar” hardware suites were met with accolades at the show by the press, interiors firms & outfitters, shipbuilders, interior designers, yacht show judges and architects alike:

Through our lost wax investment casting technique, we were able to create these exceptionally detailed pieces. Both suites are effortlessly elegant, perfectly complementing the smooth curves, detail and design of a superyacht.

As with any new product launch, it comes with a grand celebration; however, we knew at Monaco it would need to be extra special. On Wednesday, 26 September at seven o’clock in the evening, we hosted a small and intimate dinner with yachting designers, shipbuilders, press, yachting interiors outfitters and interior designers to come celebrate with principals Dickie Bannenberg, Simon Rowell and SA Baxter:

The Café du Paris at the casino in Monte-Carlo was the venue, and we were delighted to welcome our guests with a cocktail reception followed by dinner under the stars in Monte-Carlo. We thank everyone who attended (you know who you are!) for an amazing night. It was truly an exceptional evening!

Attending the Boat International annual celebration was the pinnacle of the show. It was hosted on Friday, 28 September at the Twiga night club in Monte-Carlo. It was a magical night!

It was truly an honor to exhibit at the Monaco Yacht Show this year. We kindly thank the show organizers, our partners and guests for this epic experience. We also look forward to future visits with our newly made friends and connections.

Until next year Monaco!
