Hardware collection comprises knobs, plates, and levers with historical details beckoning back to the American Revolution.
(NEW YORK) – Legacy architectural hardware brand SA Baxter is pleased to announce its latest designer collaboration, The George Suite by Jennifer Hunter. Ms. Hunter, owner of Jennifer Hunter Design, is known for her traditional yet fresh approach to decorating homes for her clients based in New York City, The Hamptons, Palm Beach, Austin, Houston, Chicago, and nationwide. Jennifer brings a layered and considered approach to designing homes that is timeless but modern.
The George Suite was created for Jennifer’s personal residence in Washington, Connecticut, a new build that is currently taking place to serve as a second home for the Manhattan-based designer and her family. The collection is based on a star-shaped detail found on an antique button that is said to have been worn by George Washington himself. The piece spoke to Jennifer as a historical item that celebrates the town’s colonial history, and of course, the name Washington.
The team at SA Baxter knew the custom design would be a great offering as part of the full SA Baxter to-the-trade line.
“Jennifer came on our radar last year as a fresh, up-and-coming name in the design world,” said Scott A. Baxter, founder of SA Baxter Architectural Hardware. “We love her style and knew it would be a great partnership. We are pleased to offer this stunning new suite to our established design clientele as well as new customers who want to incorporate this classic American heritage style within their homes.”
Says Jennifer, “I’ve always been a fan of the SA Baxter brand - the legacy and craftsmanship are unmatched. Their product is luxury, enduring, and has a longstanding history in the industry, having been involved with some of New York City’s most iconic locales from the New York Public Library to many of the most iconic residential high rises around the world. I’m honored to be working with this incredible company and am excited to have been involved from day one in the conceptualization, design, and production of the collection.”
The George Suite by Jennifer Hunter will be available in Spring 2023 online and in SA Baxter’s New York Showroom at the New York Design Center (200 Lexington Avenue, Suite 1205), the London Showroom at The Design Center Chelsea Harbour (Third Floor, Center Dome, Unit 314, London) and SA Baxter’s Hamptons outpost, coming soon.
The collection will also include a matching candle vessel in three sizes as part of the newly launched Scott Alexander Scents line, available online later this spring.
